Launch of Dundrum Credit Union Small Business Loan Scheme

Dundrum Credit Union Limited Partnership with Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Enterprise Board

According to the online survey conducted amongst clients and contacts of the County & City Enterprise Boards (CEBs) in January 2010, 43% of businesses feel credit has worsened in the previous six months (July -Dec 09).

In answer to this, Dundrum Credit Union Limited, in partnership with Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Enterprise Board, is launching a new Small Business Loan Scheme with a loan rate of 5.95% (6.11% APR). Applicants must be living, working or operating a business within the Dundrum Credit Union commond bond and can apply for a loan of up to €40,000 Boards (CEBs) with a repayment period of up to five years.

In addition to this, the CEB will appoint a mentor to all successful loan applications to assist with the business planning and development as well as with management capability. Loans will be provided for working capital as well as for capital assets - except mobile assets such as cars/vans. The credit union already has attractive motor finance options available. 

All applicants must complete a loan application form from Dundrum Credit Union and submit a basic business plan with fuill financial projections for a minimum 3 year period. Existing businesses must also submit a copy of their latest set of audited accounts and bank statements.

Sunday, 21st March 2010 in Dundrum Credit Union.

Applications will be accepted from 22nd March 2010 onwards.
